Yep I think you’re right about it having different names in different markets. It’s nothing special, just a bottom of the range city bike with cheap parts that happened to be on a frame that rides well despite its weight.
Seen some with the full length chainguard like mine had and some without. Also seen a few with a crappy hybrid suspension fork.
Just went for a 10mile ride along the canal and to do the shopping on mine. Really is my favourite bike at the moment.
