The deore has been just fine for me so far 1x10 with narrow wide chainring. I fully admit I did have to take it to my local bike shop to get the indexing just right(there’s a tiny bit of rub on 1 gear in the middle but not an issue) as I’m rubbish at setting up modern parts.
Hope you enjoy the bike, I’m so pleased with mine, best runaround bike I’ve had for years and years to the point where I’m tempted to build it up as a light tourer next year(already got a perfectly good lht for touring tho). I still really want to swap all the silver bits for black but all in good time.
I haven’t added fenders yet, I want black hammered VO or pdw but can’t really justify the cost right now...
