The strap on the helson broke so I dug out a cheap black amazon special and took to it with wet and dry to scrub a few years of patina into it. It’s too thin for the lugs and the heft of the watch but I like that.

Someone on my street has been rebuilding this 6 wheeler on their driveway over lockdown. Makes a good background for my CYMA WWW, 1945 British Military issue.

Lovely watch, nice shot too. Next week, a cockpit shot?

Watch storage - small safe, or just put them somewhere peculiar and hope that a thief won't find them?

Although I have a pharmaceutical drug locker from work. It's not a rated safe for insurance purposes but it's sturdy enough.

A thief will know where to look,no matter how perculiar you think your hiding place is,get a safe.

A thief will also usually just take the whole safe and open it later if it’s not physically too heavy to move

I can bolt a safe to the concrete floor.

Move to the cheapest house in the street, burglars will rob your neighbours first

If you don't want to have to worry about safes, you could buy this off me for £70.

To be honest, anyone breaking into the house is after the car keys for whatever you have on the drive.

Unless you have a modern car. Then they just stand outside and unlock it because Technology.

Make a little floorboard storage box under a rug, no way is a tealeaf gonna find that
