Oh yippee, it's Carlton quite frankly Kirby.

• #26128
Is Magnus on? Might bother to turn on sooner
-
• #26129
I blame Amey that you can get GCN only on an app.
-
• #26130
I don't know what's wrong with me, but I don't mind him this season.

Heart says Gilbert, but guts think Van Aert, Sagan or Colbrelli are more likely. Someone with a strong sprint after a very long ride in the heat. Apparently the new parcours will make it harder for pure sprinters.
-
• #26132
Teams of six will also make it harder for pure sprinters, after 300 hot km. Can see the peloton blown to bits on the Poggio if it arrives intact

• #26133
Nope

Meanwhile Evenepoel timetrialling to victory in Poland. If he pulls this one off that would be extremely impressive.
-
• #26135
That was fantastic
-
• #26136
Good work. Did you put money down? :)
-
• #26137
Sadly not! Kicking myself now.
-
• #26138
I had a nap AND hugely enjoyed the last 30km, MSR delivers again

• #26139
Mollema: "fucking SPD-SL!"
-
• #26140
also kicking myself, putting a tenner on every race wout is in from now on.
-
• #26141
I liked the bit where JA was fucking up every corner on the Poggio descent and had to let WVA take over
-
• #26142
He did look a bit like me on a bad day. Possibly feeling the pressure from WvA.

Apparantly both Jungles and Alaflip broke their handlebars just after Imperia, Wilfried Peeters says in an interview. Last week Alaflip had 6 flats he says in that same interview. Using this as an excuse for not winning is plausible, but not great advertisement for their sponsors imo.

Bling’s custom shoes are a bit much (scraped the wall down Poggio. Yikes!)
-
• #26145
Carapaz out of Poland following his crash yesterday. Looks precautionary rather than any major damage, but Stannard is out too with a dislocated shoulder.
-
• #26146
Is that Matthews? An impressive sprint given that rash.
-
• #26147
I’ve always found Alaphilippe hectic to watch. You’ll catch him at the back of the bunch sometimes making hard work of going in a straight line, like he’s on acid and thinks he’s riding single track through the woods. It’s part of what makes him so exciting to watch
-
• #26148
making hard work of going in a straight line
ha, indeed, he rides a couple of kms extra every race because he's zig-zagging all the time
MVDP not good enough or just took a wrong bet on JA & WVA to get caught before the line?
-
• #26149
That looked so easy for Roglič but absolute class from Bernal there tbf.
-
• #26150
So when's the 1st head-to-head of Evenepoel and Roglic, Bernal et al?
Good stage in T de l'Ain. Dayumn LJ look strong.
Really shitty bit of road for the last 1km.
