I meant it more in the sense of 'here's a mural in a restaurant at a major tourist attraction, and it's only 'revealed' in a newspaper now that it exists? I mean, I had no idea, as I've never eaten there, but it's been there for yonks and been highly visible. I'm sure it's no news to any but the least observant employees. It's just that this whole 'we haven't taken any action on things like this even though they're so blatant, but we finally are now (or not, given that it's a listed painting) that we think the political scales have been tipped a little further in this direction' doesn't feel right to me. It doesn't feel as if the heart's in it somehow.
