An issue with allotments, which could work either way, is they are run by low level local councils and even just allotment tenants. So you just never know what is going to happen. And if you piss people off they can get very petty and make the whole experience the opposite of what you'd expect. -
I'd push back a bit on that. Ask what height it needs to be to comply, show that it's clearly as temporary as any shed, measure any larger structures etc.
