New York based charity is subject to NY State Laws and regulations. They might re-register in a different state, but their legacy stuff would still be subject to scrutiny.
A fair few NRA members would not be happy if the allegations are proven. Also Wayne Lapierre is a fucking mega-cunt of the highest order. And Trump can't pardon State crimes, only Federal crimes. I'm warming up the popcorn maker for this one.

Presumably this won’t succeed. And any future Republican President will just pardon them all anyway. But it could divert NRA attention and resources and should pave the way to much greater scrutiny of some shady people and goings on. So bloody good luck to her!
