Is that Hartest Hill? A few bumps round there and Glemsford way.
Always quite liked cycling out in the Newmarket direction, there are a few hills out near Denham that you can turn into a nice loop

that's the one. i have a lot more exploring to do. as i understand the area north of ipswich has a few lumps too.

hartest area is nice lanes though. from there down to Clare and all that. and what Suffolk lacks in hills it sometimes more than makes up for with brutal winds

Hartest to Lavenham and then round to Denham would give you a few metres of climbing in a trip out. Cambridge and back is also a nice ride.

Never cycle out towards Ely, flat, featureless and 360° headwinds for miles and miles In my experience (wind direction may vary)
