After a lots of dithering I've just ordered a Tutto Plus. I've got an original works which I love and have been riding it fixed on and off road for approaching 10,000 miles in the last 5 years. The geo all looks very similar, the only real difference appear to be the head tube being 1cm shorter on the Tutto for the size large, but I have the stem slammed on the works already so I don't think it'll be an issue.
I've been looking for a road plus bike which I could do some south downs trails and new forest gravel on which are all within riding distance of the front door. I had been considering stuff like the surly midnight spec or a strangler, but I don't really have the money for discs and a new wheel set so I've gone for a this.
I've got some TRP cx8.4 brakes sitting around along with some Apex cranks, king headset and thomson stem / seatpost. rear wheel is an ultegra hub on an archetype rim to get it on the road. front wheel will be shared with my Nature Boy, phil wood on an archetype.
Coming from wiggle I have some Sram Rival shifters and a force rear mech, all way more money than I wanted to spend but everything else is sold out.
Other stuff, on its way 105 cassette 11-34 some Ritchey comp butano bars.
I've got some kinesis carbon forks which look like they should work with the frame and are very light so I might use them to start off with. I'm not totally sold on the garish paint job on the forks, there might be a repaint on the future.
It might all arrive by the weekend which would be interesting.
