So, drop bars and cleats are out and Mom McFlute is being upgraded to a '96? Cinder Cone. There'll be room for a Hamax and it it'll all generally be very sensible.
What budget upgrades should I do/best things for mum carrying baby things to look out for.
I'm getting this through a tip-off and have had no pics...so all I know so far is that it is in full working order, is orange, has slicks and is the correct size.
I'm thinking:
Swept back risers (assuming they're currently straight)
Knobbly tyres (it's for forest tracks and crap local lanes and there's currently slicks)
Either CR720 or some V-Brakes (assuming crappy cantilevers ATM)
Probably leave the drive train if it's all functioning.
Any other tips....photos imminent...
