Seems, yes.

I suggested they could buy a full outfit like a health care worker if they are that worried... but it may yet be another "I don't want to wear one" type.

Yes, because the Govt spent months telling people not to wear masks because they won’t protect them, etc. We’re all reaping what they incompetently sowed.

I have to say I don't watch TV or listen to radio, so perhaps I missing info.

So far though the official stuff for months has been...erm...lacking in clarity and consistency... :)
