FS: Ribble Urban 725 - M - £650 - w/ BLB Front Rack - (bought Jan 2020)

Hello! Long time lurker on LFGSS and first post. Here to sell my Ribble as I'm moving out of London and won't have a use for a fixie.

It’s a cracking bike - fast, fun, handles brilliantly and could become a bit of a workhorse for the right person. It’s a size M, perfect for me being 183cm tall.

Since lockdown started I’ve moved away from London and am in the process of buying a house in Surrey, so my use for a Fixie commuter has completely disappeared, and it’s unlikely I’m going to buy a house that has space for more than 2 bikes.

Anyway, I bought the bike for £630, including Shimano PD-EH500 SPD pedals, which will come with the bike. I downgraded the rear sprocket from 16t to 18t to make it easer on the legs. I then bought a brick lane bikes front rack, and some mudguards from SKS which I only got round to fitting the front one. You can have the rear one as well obviously, just not fitted. The rack is absolutely brilliant too, regularly taking 10kgs to and from the city.

So all-in, I reckon I’d let it go for £650. Would rather not break it down into constituent parts. Collection from Streatham.
