@mmccarthy these are super useful, I have the Irwin version which often got used on the MX-5. I found they don't always work but you have a much better chance than without them!

Yeah I've currently only got a sample size of 1 so can't draw out too many conclusions just yet! Not looking forward to the day that one of those can't get the job done. Probably just sell the car and get a new one at that point...

The idea of lying under a car using one of those on something I've been liberally soaking in penetrating fluid is some good nightmare fuel!

I'm sure it makes a great créme brûlée though
