Thing is, if you removed the branding, there isn't really any way to distinguish between the latest crop of fast road bikes.
Racing bikes have almost always been like that. They converge to the current pinnacle of technology and only the paint jobs vary. 60s-90s steel frames are the worst for that, strip them back and they all look the same.
Thing is, if you removed the branding, there isn't really any way to distinguish between the latest crop of fast road bikes. Gravel is fast becoming that way too.
This years tarmac was actually a pretty good ride to be honest and way better than I expected trying them out, but they're all machines of function.
It's like seeing a fast car that you can't afford. Looks fast, is fast, but you can never really tap its full potential.
