Ruislip golf course is normally mown/fertilised/pesticided beyond a natural habitat.
With HS2 taking it over, until at least 2026, the grass is growing longer,
and some 'weeds' have prospered.
Last week I finally saw the first evidence that the Cinnabar moth had found the common ragwort that would normally not flower due to being repeatedly mown down.
