This is definitely the same as Alliston. Not sure he was charged with manslaughter though, which was contentious point in various parts of the media at the time.
Whatever the circumstances, RIP Peter McCombie - very sad.

Haven't seen this elsewhere on the forum but the guy who knocked down an old man and cycled away has been caught. Been charged with manslaughter and wanton and furious driving.
It's that the same charge as Charlie Alliston?
