• Another chapter in the saga of buying beautiful bikes that are too big for me is this bike, now looking to pass it on with a tear in my eye. Lovely period components would make it a good eroica bike, frame and parts are in really good condition for age. Located in E5, could deliver within a few miles or courier/post at cost.

    Components:

    • Rourke 653 frame chrome fork and rear triangle, no flaking or rusting
    • full Campagnolo front and rear derailleurs, brakes, levers, hubs, friction paddle shifters, headset, hubs and seatpost. Not sure about BB but would assume campag given everything else is. Was told it is all chorus.
    • For some bizarre reason it has a shimano 7 speed casette * shrugs * no idea why or how
    • mavic open 4 rims (on campag hubs per above) vittoria rubino tyres 23c
    • look delta pedals
    • san marco rolls saddle
    • cinelli handlebars 40 ctc
    • cinelli stem 120mm

price: I paid £336 in all which I think is a pretty good deal, so just want to recoup that...

  • That is indeed beautiful, and my size... I must resist, but can also reassure you that 7 speed Shimano cassette works beautifully with Campagnolo 8 speed shifters, as I have had that combination in the past.
