Take it slow man. Similar situation here. Still apprehensive about lose corners, traffic, descending, everything. But what's the rush? I can go full gas uphill, right?

Definitely this ^^^. I had a fairly innocuous slow speed tumble on a hairpin in Mallorca - early morning, heavy dew on the road, and Vittoria Kevlar/SiO2 Compound of Death tyres. Despite not really being hurt in the fall, it properly shook me up, and for about a year after that Cycliste would kick my arse on tight hairpiny descents, despite my status as a Naturally Gifted Descender. I got over it eventually, although I'm still a bit tenative on wet hairpins. Which is probably not such a bad thing.
