I think it's more about inattention than tiredness, but yeah; I guess the two things can be related.
I'm probably just trying to rationalise my own stupidity, but the impression I have is that on other bikes, I can have a wobbly moment and recover it, whereas this one seems to be less forgiving.
Which is the opposite of what is expect from the slacker angles on the Surly.
Have both offs happened when you're tired?
I mean, the second one sounds like it might be. 3 hour ride? (anything over an hour for me is long, so I might be skewed there)
Maybe your weight wasn't on the front so much? Hit a lump, boom off.
First one, maybe similar?
