Had a Facebook memory of one of my pictures from the Alpe seven years ago when they went up it twice. We weren’t really sure what we were doing and before we’d realised we were driving up it - we’d intended to park at the bottom and walk up - of course, once we’d started the ascent, there was no way we’d be able to turn around before getting to the top. Having never been, we just randomly decided to park up and, by fate, the next corner was the Dutch corner!
Banging techno and a bar serving cold draught beer and hot chips. It was fucking heaven.
