The difference(s) between a good MGOOF and a modern bike is probably less than what you'd expect, if that's what you're wondering. -

MGOF is my go-to, only cos the other one is the Winter/tourer. But I used to ride carbon, which was lighter but definitely not as comfortable or fun to ride. And the Ron Cooper's quick enough... 171/10,854 in the King of the Mountains, Etape du Tour 2017. :)
