Internally they are 22mm - only using tape measure though but this is backed up by an old catalogue I dug up.
The tyres are running at just about exactly the 2.1 as advertised so 53/54mm. They look and feel great.
The clearance I have is an issue though. Probs only 2/3mm each side... have been having a search about - a ghetto crimping of the chain stays at the right spot should create a dimple to give me a couple of mill extra to play with... with the steel frame it SHOULD be okay - I’ll have a think. Watch this space!
