We just had the washing machine repair guy round after I spent all of last Friday taking it apart and putting it back together again seemingly to no avail.
He took the pump out, pulled out a bit of hair that I'm sure hadn't been there last week, and now it works fine. Fuck's sake.
He also scolded us for having the washing machine on one of the vibration-dampening mats that I thought were supposed to help stop it walking around. I thought it had been great.
