Looks like Garmin's total online borkage is going to last a few days - in case anyone's failed to notice, Garmin's online presence, including Garmin Connect, has gone missing since yesterday. According to The Register their internal network has been taken down by ransomware.
This is why I prefer units which (like Garmin) you can access files on directly on the device.
