If it is out of Warranty Cragos Autos in Dartford or BMSport in Bexleyheath, all ex BMW Techs.
Could be a buckled wheel all though you would like to think they would spot that when balancing, soft TCA bushes can cause it. Did you say you can feel it through the clutch pedal? If it is a diesel you might be getting dual mass flywheel vibration but that is not usually restricted to higher speeds.

No I can feel it on the motorway in 6th when I use the little step next to the clutch to rest my foot.
Thanks for the recommendations on the garages - will go see them when I'm back in town.
Initially the mechanics I showed it to thought there might be play in the bushings, but when I brought it back in for a more thorough inspection they weren't convinced.
Don't suppose anyone else has owned an f21 BMW and experienced juddering in the steering (can also be felt through the car) at 75mph+ ?
Took it to the local garage after driving back from Norfolk last week and they thought it might be the front suspension arms but weren't 100% so they just made sure it was safe and rebalanced the wheels. It's helped a little but not much.
In Wales for the next couple of weeks but would like to take it to a decent BMW garage in London (preferably south) when I get back to get them to chase the problem down. Any recommendations?
