  • Indeed.

Who would have predicted that two of the top three would bottle it and neither would be Leeds!

  • Big day!
Bournemouth need at least a point I think.

  • 5-a-side back from August (although technically from right now if you really wanted, but it's going to depend on the venues being open).

Small chance for Fulham to make the automatic spot. They need to win, Brentford need to not win and West Brom need to lose. Fulham's goal difference is terrible in comparison to the other two.

Fulham away at Wigan who will be trying hard to avoid relegation assuming their administration is not overturned.
Brentford at home to Barnsley who will probably be down by then assuming they don't beat Forest today.
West Brom at home to QPR.

    Wednesday 7.30pm. DRINK IT IN!

  • well done Chelsea. you totally deserved that.

  • Did United turn up this evening???

  • Agreed, Chelsea played well, not the result I wanted as a gooner..

  • reckon it will make for a cracking final.

it seems written that your old boy Giroud will win it for the blues. got to hand it to him he was excellent today.

  • Either Giroud or an OG from Luiz

  • Either Giroud or an OG from Luiz

written in the stars...methinks... Chelsea 2 Arsenal 0

  • I've not seen much of Reece James this season but he was fantastic today.

Has he been consistently that good? If so, why all the fuss about Wan Bissaka?

  • Not the result I expected given the form of Utd. Chelsea bossed that game from start to end. Willian and mount put in amazing amount of work in that game. Giroud just a classy player. It's written now Luiz or Giroud to win it.
poor old De Gea. Unlucky with goals 1 and 3 but number 2 was shocking.

  • also kovacic needs to have the confidence to shoot.

  • De Gea actually had a decent game. He made some saves that kept ManU in the game until the end.

  • From what I've seen of him he looks to be another good going forward, a bit suspect defensively full back in the Alexander Arnold category (but obviously not as good going forward). Wan Bissaka on the other hand is generally a bit the opposite.

  • I've not seen much of Reece James this season but he was fantastic today.

Has he been consistently that good?

He was a little rusty after the restart but yesterday played his best game for Chelsea and justified the hopes that have been placed on him. He was great as a kid and showed that he really can step up.

  • We have never beaten Arsenal in an FA Cup Final and have lost two to them

  • The current state of fixtures will have an impact upon the start of next season.

I understand that the league season is to start on 12 September. If there is to be a Community Shield before that puts that a week earlier. Chelsea have two tough competitive league games followed by an FA Cup Final a week later and after that a Champions League match on 8 August. Assuming that is lost, it leaves them less than a month before the restart. Liverpool are on the beach already.

  • True he made a couple of good saves too keep them in it. Maybe he is just normal as his form last season and before was incredible. He will get the blame for this game from many but Unt were 2nd best all over the pitch.

  • Harry MaGuire. £80,000,000. Makes PSG's purchase of David Luiz look like a bargain.

  • Watford sacking Pearson is a joke.

I'd be quite happy to see them go down now.

  • FFS Arsenal.

  • Reckon would be good to face villa in premier league next season. Kinda want Watford to go down now not that I give a fuck about Pearson being sacked

  • The Pozzo's deserve it.

  • Its a long running saga and still not clear if he will be manager or manager/DoF.
It's clear that Gazidis has pushed this, both Boban and Maldini have levelled accusations at him over this.

Seems like the Rangnick / Milan deal is off, at least on the managerial front. Wonder if the DoF role is still on the table?
