Beans are delivered every month from Coffee Factory, usually used within 1-4 weeks of roasting.
Ground immediately before use in a Ascaso i-Mini espresso grinder.I'm still faffing about with the grind settings, been too fine and too coarse.
Current setup is a nice enough coffee, but it doesn't seem thick enough for espresso nor does it have the foamy top I dream of.
I cannot for the life of me get a crema out of the ROK presso.
I've ground finer, slower pulls, longer "infusion" before pulling, etc.
Is there a trick to it?
