I just read somewhere TV land stopped showing re-runs of the TV series because of the flag, don't know if that's true tho.
It's a fucking terrible television show full of awful stereotypes and misogyny. It has not aged well. The flag is simply one of many crimes.

This may be the case but in my head it is one of the best TV shows ever, and to be honest I only remember the car(s). The fact that I haven't watched it in at least 30 years is neither here nor there.
I suppose that next you'll be telling me that Miami detectives in the 80s didn't actually drive Ferraris or go everywhere dressed in pastel coloured linen suits with FUKEN SHOULDER PADS and espadrilles (an eminently suitable choice of footwear for running after baddies).

I can’t believe I used to have official cassette tapes of the show. Audio book style didn’t even get to see the car stunts
