Correct, my etrex 30 seems an alien for all my pcs (got 3) and mac.
Oh, in settings do you have an option for USB mode, like mass storage? Make sure you've tried changing that to see if the PC recognises is, before trying a factory reset -> I need to double-check this tonight.
