• My Veloflex Corsa EVO TLR's are working great now. One of them just needed a tiny bit more sealant then riding as everyone said.

That's actually why I came to this thread just now, to say I did a century on them today and I think they're super. They definitely have all of the wonderful suppleness of a 350tpi Italian tyre over shitty road surfaces, they seem fast and the tread feels very grippy and gummy.

I ran them at 80psi today (I've got 25mms), which is arguably too much for a 62kg weakling like me, but I never felt they were too hard.

I've not really pushed them that hard in corners generally so far, and I've only done about 250 miles on them so I can't say anything about puncture protection or durability yet, but all seems very promising.

  • Quite interested in your experience of those. I could be tempted.

I’ve been happy with Veloflex Masters with latex tubes on wide rims. They are summer/dry/event tyres though.

Ironically the only major downside is replacing a tube. Negotiating the tight af bead and tubeless-ready rims is difficult at home and a nightmare by the side of the road :)
