I just got both post mount and flat mount brake tab fixtures from incepi, so will be more adventurous with caliper mounts in the future.
I did something very similar to that there when I did @JesperXT s all road

Whats wrong with IS on the seatstay? never found an issue. Super easy to adjust, dont have to try and squeeze allens into small gaps..

Absolutely nothing. Now I can just do any mount and with the security of having someone else do the right measurements on the fixtures :)
