Thanks for this. My dad was looking for a new watch so picked one of these up.

I'm sure someone will snap this up - it's a great watch. My comment says more about my diminutive wrists than about the watch! GLWS.

Your nicest watch IMO. Gorgeous.

I do really like these, but I’ve never seen the blue face in person. I used to have an Oris pointer date which I sold and I regret it a little.
Where abouts are you based?

I really enjoyed this, I normally like the classic colourway.

So been wearing my glycine combat quite a bit. It's actually holding really good time. It's 10 seconds fast after setting it 3 days ago. That seems pretty decent!

Still haven't wanted to wear anything else.

the positive display is nicer IMO

I'm one of the weird lot who likes the negative versions.
-
• #46363
Plenty do, i have a negative display G, in a black case, works fine.
I just prefer positive displays, especially in a lighter case -

It's an easy mod to make yourself apparently, not that I fancy my soldering skills to do it.

Deliberately matching the strap with the trainers (and coincidentally the kitchen units) today.

I prefer negative for the aesthetic.
But positive for the functionality.
My eyesight isn't great, if I don't have glasses on I can't seem to read the negative screens which is why I seldom wear my black G-shock and leave that for night clubs... the positive screen on the silver I can always read.

proves my (designer) theory of devs like dark mode (which is bullshit) :P

I prefer the aesthetic of the negative G-shock LCD but I find the positive one much more legible. Both have pretty poor legibility in most conditions compared to a trad analogue divers watch.

I do too

It doesn’t when it benefit disabled people.

The new 'Ray Mears' Citizen is a pretty good deal right now (~£225 after signing up to their newsletter):

Very cheap on the bracelet. I wear mine nearly every day.
-
• #46374
Yeah, the bracelet is worse than before, right? Not such a problem for me as I'd switch to fabric.

There's an "EXTRA20" code that makes it £199. Darn. Always liked those.
It is a cool piece but sadly (or not) I got others I tend to choose over it. The lug width on this is 20mm, so great but 40mm face is quite large I guess... but the pointer date complication looks better on the 40mm in my opinion... and yeah, this blue is very nice.
