Why are there two attachment points for the rear shock? What would changing it do?
Change the amount of travel. An old frame my mine had two mounts to swap between 3.5” and 4” travel
Your Kona "A"? Always wanted one of those.
Had one of these crack recently, welds by the shock mount
yup, changes the travel and of course the head angle. One will be slacker and longer travel and t'other will be more upright and less travel.
Do you mean two additional attachment points making of course three travel/angle positions?
What would changing it do?
It will alter something :)
Possibly the compression ratio of the shock giving it a stiffer feel. Who knows.
