I like the idea of Swatch watches but I can't get over how loud they are

Yeah. I had to leave mine in the living room when I used to have one so it didn't keep me awake. Hopefully a Sistem51 would be quieter with it being mechanical.

Nnnnnnnnope.

The rotor is horrendously loud and the ticking still requires stowing in a drawer.

My 51 is quieter than my son’s quartz Swatch but still loud. That’s kind of part of the experience though. It’s what you get with a plastic case.
