• Oh yeah, while I'm here, thanks everyone for warning me off the Civic with the air con issue. I think with hindsight it was best avoided.

I bought this from a nice couple in Ruislip last weekend. It's only done 67000 miles and the only niggle apart from a smashed front fog light (I've already got a replacement, just need to fit it) is the left power folding mirror which doesn't turn in sometimes. This is caused by a faulty resistor in the mirror shut off device, I tried to fit a new £1.60 resistor myself last night and cocked it up, which I'm annoyed with myself about because the replacement SOD I've just ordered cost £23. Outrageous.

After years of driving poverty spec cars I'm enjoying having luxuries like a panoramic sunroof, dual zone air con, auto lights/wipers, reversing sensors and cruise control 😂

  • £23

Push the boat out. You're worth it.

The Civic is the most modified car in the US. Loads of aftermarket options for you.

Massive turbo, wide body kit, spoiler, tennis ball shooter exhaust, underbody glow....

  • That's pretty much 1% of the value of the car though!

I know they're a popular boy racer/modding option but I'll be keeping this as stock as possible.

Also given how fugly the US Civics are from that era I can see why people mod them ;)
