I wish it was confirmed. there's a lot of life that could intervene but I'd like to.

Do it! My fantasy running career path involves retiring from flat marathons after conquering sub-2:30, followed by lots of scenic races of various lengths and up-and-down-ness. (But not sure if BGR is beyond my navigational skills!)
