What spider bites like that? Sure it's not a Mozzy bite?

Found some more false widows in the garage today. They seem to like it in there.

^ Almost certainly that bite.

Think I got bitten by a spider a couple of weeks ago. It blistered, went rank, started to heal, then blistered again around it.

Yes painted lady, no we will release the lot in a week or so. Another one hatched but was on a zoom call

Yep I think you’re right, hornet hoverfly—it was pretty big!

The clearing out of half our house has made some of its residents homeless. This spider is carrying its brood to safety, and the smaller one is supervising a crèche.
