The Fancy Feast stove (based on cat food and tomato paste tins) is my favourite one, doesn't need a stand or to be pre-heated.

The Compact version has 30cm pack size which means it might actually fit between my drops.

Pack size can be misleading based on the length of poles which can be strapped to top tube allowing the rest to be smushed down much smaller.

Yeah, but if I want to keep the tent in one 'pack' and not add stuff to my top tube, I'm kinda into the idea of keeping shit out front or on a rack.
