(loving the Smiths btw... EDIT - can I ask how noisy the miyota rotor is in that one? I have the everest expedition model and it is a seriously rattly thing - I was wondering if I was just unlucky or whether that is pretty standard)

AIUI rotor rattle is pretty standard across Miyota movements, but my Everest only does it occasionally (or if I really try to spin it). I don't mind it - it's infrequent enough that I can just enjoy it as a quirk.

Thanks - I think I must have a noisy one - I simply rotate my wrist to read the time and it spins like mad (and noisily) for a good 5-10 seconds.
