  • Omas "Big Sliding" bb for sale.
    English thread, 109mm axle length.
Threads on shells and lock rings are perfect.
I'm presuming this is the titanium version as nothing other than the bearings are magnetic.
Bearings are very smooth. I think this is the first time it's seen daylight since it was fitted to my lopro when new in '94, a bike that's seen little use anyway and only in TT's.

You can dial in your chainline better with this BB as both shells have lockrings.

    £75 posted uk mainland only.

  • Weight is 152g on the kitchen scales.

  • Are the sealed bearing an easily available replacement? What’s the taper, jis?
Solid design, looks like it’ll last forever.

  • interested, same question as above.

  • I'm not certain but I think ISO as the bike came with a campag crankset.
Velobase list this BB as being ISO.
Are there any measurements I can provide?
I'll get the bearing numbers, pretty sure they'll be off the shelf.

  • Perfect for a 75 then!

  • Bearings are 6903, Japan IJK also stamped on them.
End of taper measures 12.6mm on my analogue veneers and the length of taper is about 17.2mm but that's tricky to measure.

  • When pressed together, cup width (outer to outer is 76mm.

Shells are stamped 1.370" x 24 BSC-S (opposite shell same but with -D)

  • I cant imagine the italians making a JIS tapered BB.

  • Price drop before it goes elsewhere.

    £70 posted UK mainland only.
