Vespa are way more uneven. The Lambretta at least tries to have the engine inline.
I used to have a kitted Vespa T5 (Malossi 172). That thing was evil - fast as fuck, wheelied almost by itself and skittered around all over the place. I seized it rock solid and locked the rear wheel up at 60 on the right hand carriageway of a dualler with an artic lorry in the left hand lane and had the most heart stopping skid to stop over about 70 metres
Sold it after that, bought a Lambretta. Much more refined, even though it shifts too.
