I’d have been tempted but just spunked £900 on the modern diver

I’m quite disappointed really but these don’t look nearly as shiny on the photos as they do in real life... I don’t won’t to worry about my watch.

Nice. What strap is it?

I'm wondering, on a mechanical/auto chrono, when the chrono function is engaged, does it alter other characteristics of the watch? Like power reserve and time keeping. My reasoning being that it's another bunch of wheels to turn, that wouldn't be in motion normally?
