So finally had some time to tinker with both the P and the Dale today.
Picked up some 685mm EA50’s (might chop them down a bit to be honest as they’re massive) but unbelievable how much more rigid the bike feels now than when it had drops on.
I’ve also swapped out the Thomson seatpost/clamp/seat etc for some more commuter friendly cheap/comfy parts. I am looking for another seatpost that isn’t laid back however as this stretches me out a little too much.
Also, finally sucked it up and put an 8 degree stem on the P rather than a 17. My back honestly can’t handle it, still think anything other than the stem slammed and flat with your top tube looks a little goofy (only my opinion) but I’ll have to make do for now!
Pics of the P coming tomorrow when I get out on it properly, for now some rainy London pics off the Dale!
