Elegant workhorse frame. Potentially a nice restore project, or reliable ratbike. I'm looking to shift it as it is too big for me. Was bought as a full bike (one owner who had it in his shed for many years), to which I have now transferred those parts to a smaller Claud Electron frame. Measures 57 c-c top tube, 55 c-t seat tube.
The lucky buyer will pay only the cost of postage (around £15).
Details / issues:
There is a BB cup still tight in one side. I have neither the tools nor patience on this, I don't think it's seized, nothing else was on the frame. Just needs a vice or the right tool because it is tight. I'll include the other cottered BB bits if you choose to leave it in and it is fine to run like that with a cottered crank.
Guess it was repainted years ago in navy blue, they did a decent job. The original flamboyant blue paint is peeking through. There is surface rust all over to add to character.
It had a shunt in the past, the last owner said so. One dropout needs bending back upward a touch, not a big job. The forks need aligning a little, again can be done by hand / plank of wood I reckon. No other issues from this I can see.
I have a short 26.4 seatpost which can be included.
I'd prefer this to go to someone who wants to build it to use it. I know you can't control these things, but if you just want to flip it / strip the badge of it etc. then don't PM me.
Dibs then PM, payment by Paypal when we've worked out postage cost.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:

Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
