  • Switched from 52/36 11-28 to 50/34 11-32, the old chain worked but also switched to a new chain 1 link longer. I do like to keep complete drive trains separate.

    34/11-12 combo barely clears with the longer chain, but the longer chain looks more healthy on the 50/20-32 end, where I tend to be in before I shift down to the 34.

    All of this on a 2013 Supersix with stock hanger but B-screw all the way in.

    Tbh, going for 50/34 already provide a big difference before changing cassette.

    No matter what cassette you have, you will always wish for that one extra sprocket when climbing on the mountain.
