Thanks good to know you have a working set up. I have it working with a really old cheap 1800 mAh power bank I found in a drawer but any of my new ones don’t work. The light on the Plug turns on and off (every 3-4 seconds) which makes me think it’s hitting the power overload.
Do you have a link / model number for your specific power bank? I read that RavPower banks were likely to be a compatible match but the one I just bought has the same overload issue.

Not the cheapest of powerbanks but having bought that I now own other products by the same company. They're great.

I had lots of mixed success with various powerbanks until I settled on one that dealt with pass through charging as well as not needing a constant steady source.
Settled on a 10000 mah zendure. Figured I wasn't gonna charge it any more than that in a day.
Also phone doesnt charge so well attached directly to dynamo as stopping/starting doesnt do so good. Better off using the power bank as an inbetween if charging whilst attached to the dynamo. Lotsa newer power banks dont do pass through so make sure you get one that does if you go down this route.
