Nah, you’re good. I think the majority of people know what you’re talking about and do the same.

Love the last one (call in sick), mix of temporality and stillness in one image.

Actually, there's a couple of tarped cars round here, might try and snap them in homage.

Thanks all, that Robert Frank image is certainly something to aspire to.

Some shots taken on an Asahi Pentax SP500, Ilford XP2 400 that expired in 1997, grainy as fuck! The SP500 was the camera I started shooting film on years ago. My first one shamefully got lost in a move somehow and I've been without one for years. I felt the urge for a really simple, bombproof SLR so bought another one for next to nothing on eBay.

A quick shot of a friend climbing the Ventoux, while bike packing across Europe back in 2017. This picture was taken with my beloved Rollei35S, on Tri-X.

Couple of test shots from the Horizon. Colorplus and palm medium scans. Will definitely take some getting used to this format

Really like these.
The grain reminds me of half frame photography.
Fair points, all fair points.
I guess what I should have wrote is; "If metering by eye, err on the side of over exposure. Don't go so slow shutter speed that you risk camera shake."
For me it's all about enjoying the process of shooting and in my experience this has been a good approach to shoot freely.
It won't be technically perfect or optimal, but it is fun and I get results I like. Sorry if I have sowed confusion.
