I need to replace a printer at home. Really infrequent use. Would like good quality for the 1 print every 3 months it seems to do. Would like it to take up small space. Wireless connection would be good.
<£100 and also make tea, hoover, scrub floors, offer advice, rub shoulders, make cheese sandwich. -

This is a job for a black and white laser printer. Brother was always a favourite brand for those.

If only printing black and white a laser by Samsung or Brother is the answer.
If you want colour inkjets are rather troublesome if left unused for long periods and a colour laser is not within your price range.
You may be better getting your prints done elsewhere with such infrequent use.

I would also suggest a brother laser. Although ideally wired, as wireless printers have a nasty habit of forgetting your network when you're about to dash out the door to a concert/airport and need to print your tickets.

We have a canon inkjet that's pretty big. Has lasted 10 years and I'm not sure why we need colour....apart from printing pictures for kids school work that then get cut into many pieces and left all over the fucking place. -

Pack of crayons and a b/w print, just like we had to uphill both ways when we were young 'uns. (I probably still left pieces all over the place, mind...)
I've had a Samsung b/w laser for well over a decade now, and it's still trucking along fine - have bought new toner maybe twice in that time?

That’s very kind but I think I was mistaken in thinking I had a 6700 cassette on the wheel. It was just a 6700 lockring and a 5600 cassette probably.

It's the same here in Leeds at the minute. Only open from 7-9am a few days a week. Normally it's much longer than that and 6 days a week.

What can I get my dad for his birthday?
Usually I do experience stuff because he's the typical "got everything" person. Plus he's a prolific hoarder so experiences seem fairer on my mum.
Obviously this year it's a bit tough thinking of an experienced present as idk when or if he'd be able to use it.
Cheers.

Would these in M5 x 20 mm work as replacement for my Thomson X2 stem (steerer ones)?

Just replacing the freewheel on my Dura ace hub. There's a splined preload bolt on the non-drive side that I can't move.
Is there a specific tool for this job?

Anyone who adds to wikipedia, how would I go about extracting the book citations from the html of the wiki page?
Seemingly people only use 'cite class="citation book" like half the time!! I can get the text out of the notes and references sections but want to be taking out specifically the books, and their titles/author etc. Any suggestions welcome.

It should just unscrew by hand, its splined to meet the inside of the plastic ring that locks it in place.

Kinda shitty how their collection place is only open for 2 hours. Sounds like they need to extend those hours.
