They are WTB 47 Venture. So far very pleased with how things are working, but I ussually avoid mud, compared to Technics100.
Do you have a picture with the clearance of 700x40 please?

Pretty generous clearances at all the important areas with 700x40. I'm not sure how these (On One Gravelroads) stack up against other 40s though.47mm seems to be the consensus for 650b in CDFs. I'd be interested to see how 47mm WTB Senderos looked in the frame.

Looking at that, I’ve still got bags of room in there. Theses might be fairly svelte 40s (I’ll get the callipers out), but I’d be interested to try something bigger at 700

I'm currently thinking of selling my hardtail due to using my CDF more and more for all off-road duties. Would be using proceeds to get a 650 wheel set and some chunkier tyres than my current 700x40, so would be interested to hear your ongoing reports!
