  • Red and blue headset cups to match stars and stripes in the fork.
Yellow grips and green saddle for...šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

  • A heat gun will soften up the stickers

Hair dryer will also do the job without heating your tyres to 600Ā°

  • Yeah, it's pretty offensive. Lucky with hope SJS carry all the individual spares so some new headset cups are pretty cheap.

  • Hair dryer

Like I own one of those. I make @BareNecessities look like this guy

  • best bet is to test ride either new from your LBS or a local mate's bike so that you can get a feel.

and by test ride I mean actually out on the trails, not just a roll around the Swindon Nationwide car park and 'yup, that seems ok'

  • this is my 24"wheel bike

  • this is my 24kg bike

  • I'm looking for a XL enduro hardtail bike to use in bikeparks across Europe. Preferably second hand but I have no idea which brands or so to look at. Something like the Cotic BFE would be nice, but it's a bit spendy. Any recommendations?

  • Hang on there. Are you suggesting that the skill of the rider has some bearing on how the bike will perform?!

  • Plus the skill of the mechanic I suppose haha

    Also, he's 5'8

  • Imagine just how rad he could have got if the wheels were 1.5" less in diameter!

  • My mate broke both his wrists only a few meters from that wallride

  • 20" is always the winner šŸ‘šŸ¼

  • Hi friendly mtbers, I can't climb on my ss hardtail for shit, I feel like this will help:

can it be used without a cable and lever?
As far as I can tell, the little hex bolt is to clamp a cable into the blue disk. The cable then routes out of the cable-guide up to bars ?

  • Iā€™m not sure this is a great vid to prove the point, Kris looks absolutely horrible on that bike. Like when parents buy their kids bikes four sizes too big and it they have to summon the strength of the Gods to get their front wheel an inch off the ground.

  • With each new industry standard and subsequent subgenre, I'm glad it gives us another opportunity to appreciate diversity as enthusiasts of a common interest.

    the strength of the Gods

    did chortle.

  • Anyone looking to sell a SS mtb relatively cheaply pls?
Probably 18" frame. Though I really struggle with mtb sizing.

  • Would be interested in the answer to this too...would a full sus not be the best answer though?

  • Hmm, not sure what point you mean.
I posted it because it was a relatively short - average height bmx rider on 29" wheels. Possibly a sponsors choice but I've seen other videos of him fastplanting that 29er out of jumps so strength of the gods he must have.
Anyway, I wasn't really making a point, he rides a 27.5 Pivot these days.

Actually my only comment on this was that I'm building up an Orange Crush and I'll ride my 'cross bike if I want to go fast..

  • This was once this.

Can confirm that some Ā£5 decals and a bit of spray.bike save you from spending hundreds and hundreds of pounds on a Highball....let's call it the Lowball.

  • excellent, shame that frame was too big for me, it was local

  • It is enormous, thanks for the drivetrain and brakes. I'm now tempted by the china carbon trail/xc full sus that @pit is building up.

Have some more pics from the wrong side of the bike:
